How long does a screen printed ink last on a t-shirt?
I need to know this asap!
I agree with “MOZ.” A good silk screen image can outlast the fabric of the shirt itself. I used to have an oversized sweatshirt that I used as an artist’s smock. The fabric gradually tore and unravelled until, at the end, the only intact sections of the shirt were those parts that were printed. When it was more holes than shirt, it wasn’t much good as a protective smock. It got tossed into the recycle bin, but I doubt even the rag pickers got much use out of it.
